Why don’t we walk in Kawagoe

Just in one hour from Tokyo by train, you will arrive at Kawagoe of Saitama prefecture.

This town is called the small Edo, because the cityscape of the Edo era, that is more than 150 years ago, is reproduced here.

Actually, it has buildings of Meiji, Taisho and Showa era, the successive periods after Edo era. Anyway all the things here appear nostalgic.

This summer it rained very much also in this town. And the rain suits very well this nostalgic cityscape, because it extracts the Japanese nostalgic feeling much more than sunlight. Japanese town looks beautiful in slightly lonely atmosphere.
